Rising Sun-Lebanon is a small town located in Kent County, Delaware. It has a population of just over 4,000 people. It is considered a census-designated place (CDP), rather than a separate city.
Rising Sun-Lebanon is part of the larger Dover metropolitan area. It is close to many other towns and cities in Delaware, including Denton, Salem, Georgetown, and Bridgeton. In addition, many of Delaware’s most popular beaches – such as Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach – are just a short 20 to 30 minute drive down Route 1.
This community is relatively small in size, just 3.6 square miles in total. It is known for being a quiet area with a more suburban feel.
